J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its 2022 Shades of Green International Online Juried Art Exhibition.
The color green holds true to its symbolism and stereotypes much of the time in fine art. It can be glitzy and glamorous, lush and lively, and sometimes sickly and threatening.
We invited artists to submit their best work where the color green was the dominant theme. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best art and photography.
Each of our themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place. The First Place winner for the 2022 Shades of Green show is Susan Wehrman for her colored pencil, Pondering. Susan captured the essence of the theme and her excellent command of the medium and composition are what set her work apart. Susan is also the Featured Artist for the next four weeks.
Taking Second Place is Natalie Wetzel for her mixed media, When They Danced they Lit The Night Sky. Natalie’s creativity and originality with composition and technique make for a fun image. And, Third Place goes to Elizabeth Kayl for her photo Green With Envy. Her style of photography is wonderful as is the quality of artistic composition and overall design based on the theme.
Honorable Mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Padma Aleti for her watercolor, Spiralis, David Meadow with is acrylic, Contemplation, Katherine Phillips for her digital photo, Untoled, Regina Roland for her watercolor, Petite Green No. 2, Don Scott for his mixed media, Orlando Breeze, and Hanna Supetran for her oil, Eternity.
